Sometimes referred to as the "Norway of Arabia," the Musandam Peninsula is a site to behold.
An Omani enclave, separated from the rest of Oman by the UAE and easily accessed by road from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Musandam is home to some of Oman's most spectacular scenery. Here the Fjords of Arabia plunge into turquoise waters, teeming with colorful fish, coral reefs and dolphins.
Muscat has a distinct personality in comparison with the neighboring capitals. There are very little high-rises on the streets, and on top of that even commercial buildings are necessitated to bear tradition with a dome or a window that has arabic style.
